Quantitative Data Analysis

In this post the steps of solving a problem are presented:

1. Describe the problem in a clear and concise manner.
2. Identify important factors that affect the problem and its solution.
3. Formulate a model for the problem.
4. Perform experiments and/or collect data to test the model.
5. Improve the model based on the data.
6. Modify the model to be a solution to the problem.
7. Perform an appropriate experiment to verify the solution.
8. Draw conclusions that arise from solving the problem.
